Ten Fashion Commandments You Should Keep To Look Fabulous

You should have noticed how big a business looking good is today. Suffice to say people judge you based on how you look nowadays, and what you wear is a function of how you look.
Here are ten fashion commandments that will help you a great deal to look good with little effort as Eureka Reporters take you through a journey of fabulousness in fashion.

1. Disregard trends.

You shouldn’t wear something just because it’s of the fashion moment. You have to be yourself, find what looks good on you, and embrace it, even if it’s not in vogue. The biggest fashion faux pas is trying to look like somebody else.

2. Never underestimate the power of details.

The last thing on is the first thing noticed. Take necklaces as example. Food stains don’t count though.

3. Keep it simple
For the average guy, it’s about building a personal wardrobe that looks great on you.

Don’t make it complicated. When you have a choice between two items, choose thesimpler one.

4. A garment should never be made of more than 25 percent of an unnatural fiber.

A little bit of polyester isn’t going to kill you. A lot of polyester? That’s a different story.

5. Experiment with style.

If you make mistakes, life goes on.

6. Never go shopping alone.

You’ve got the store trying tosell you items and you are notsure you look right. But if you have a friend along, you can always get an objective opinion from someone who knows you.

7. Don’t overdo it.

You want to be noticed for a look that’s yours, and not because you look clownish. Overdoing is like crying, “Oh, look at me!!” I think it’s far better to be noticed for subtlety than for garishness.

8. Never wear anything sheer.

Let’s leave the exposed nipples to Janet Jackson, shallwe? But even the last time I checked, Janet was all covered up. Thanks anyway Janet, for the mammaries we used to see.

9. Spend with reason.

I encourage many trips to the mall or to your favourite fashion retailer. However, when shopping becomes an addiction, and you have to move every two weeks to fleecreditors, you officially have abig problem.

10. Cashmere is seasonless.

Wear it in winter. Wear it in summer. Wear it to bed and togarden in for all I care, but cashmere is never, ever the wrong answer.
Write the commandments on your heart and ensure you don’t forget them. You can dress simple and look fabulous, you just have to learn how.

With love from,
Carson Kressley, Former Associate Director of Creative Development for Ralph Lauren.

Ransom On Okonjo-Iweala’s Mum Tears Kidnap Gang Apart

The 10-man kidnap gang, which abducted Prof Kamene Okonjo, mother of the Minister ofFinance, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, has been torn apart as a result of sharing the ransom collected for the release of the Queen of Ogwashi-Uku kingdom in Delta State.
The new leader of the gang reportedly bolted away with N1million share of another member of the gang.
The affected member, 32 –year-old Andrew, aka Olokpa, from Edo state, who was desperately in need of money, decided to go on a reprisal mission by forming a new kidnap gang and was caught by the police.
He is presently on detention at the Delta State Police Command headquarters in Asaba.
He was seized on Thursday when police, acting on intelligence information, lured him to sell one of the guns in his possession, which was used in the kidnap of the queen mother of Ogwashi-Ukukingdom.
His arrest was confirmed to Saturday Vanguard, yesterday, in Asaba by the Delta State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Ikechukwu Aduba.
Hired for the operation
The suspected kidnapper, who spoke to Saturday Vanguard from the police cell, yesterday, however, asserted he was not among the main 10-man kidnap gang that abducted Prof Okonjo.
He stated that he was merely hired to supply food to Prof Okonjo in the bush, where she was kept on two occasions.
Commissioner Aduba, who maintained that that the police was not in support of paymentof ransom to kidnappers and was not told by the family of Okonjo that they paid ransom to kidnappers, told Saturday Vanguard that nemesis would catch up with the remaining kidnappers, as the police have a database on them.
He confirmed our information that the second-in-command of the gang, who took over from the former leader and kidnap kingpin, Nwaeze Nwosa, a.k.a Bolaji, after he was shot dead by the police, Thursday, December 13, bolted away with N1 million share of the ransom kept for another member, Olokpa.
The gang members seriously disagreed on the action of thenew leader and advised him toreturn Olokpa’s money to him,as he was the one in who tookcare of Prof Okonjo in their hideout.
The kidnap leader refused and Olokpa, who was in possession of the arms and ammunition used for the operation was in desperate money for the Christmas and New Year celebrations.
He reportedly formed another kidnap gang, which went for an operation in Aboh in Ndokwa area of the state.
The gang successfully kidnapped the victim but was confronted on the way out by the vigilance group in the area, which riddled its vehicle with bullets.
“Since we know the hideout they planned to use, we strategized to lay ambush for them at the hideout, but because of the shooting by the vigilance group, the groupdiverted to Edo state, where they abandoned the vehicle used for the operation”, a source confided in our reporters.
Saturday Vanguard was told that police detectives continued with the hunt for thegang and having discovered that Olokpa was in dire need of money, they sold a dummy to him that somebody wanted to buy a gun.
He fell for the deal and struck a bargain for N300,000 not knowing that he was speakingto a police detective.
The suspect came to Koka junction in Asaba to collect themoney for the gun when the police arrested him.
He denied being the person that negotiated for the sale ofa gun when he found that he was trapped.
However, it was difficult to extricate himself and he decided to escape, but he wasshot on the leg in the process.
How we captured the gang member— Aduba
Speaking on the arrest of Olokpa, Commissioner Aduba said, “What I can tell you is that following our intelligence gathering on the identities of members of the kidnap gang responsible for the kidnap of Professor Mrs. Okonjo and days of painstaking monitoringat about 12.30pm, one Andrew(surname withheld) was arrested at Koka junction, Asaba.
“We got to know through networking of information the bush the woman was kept. The major players were identified, even though they are scattered, the camp was in disarray following the deathof their leader, Nwosa.
“I still reiterate the issue of ransom, the issue of ransom payment was a rumour. We (police) are not part of it. I don’t encourage ransom”, he stated. According to him, “When we eventually smashed the gang with the death of their leader, one of them, who was promised N1 million as his share became angry because he was denied of the money.
“He broke away from the gang. We (police) were aware because of the close tab on them. And because he was angry, he decided to engage in other kidnapping activities to enable him get enough money for the Christmas and New Year celebrations.
“He participated in kidnapping an 82 year old man at Aboh. We (knew) about the kidnap, but did not know the route. We knew the day and kept on our surveillance and on that […]continue reading

Tonto Dikeh is the most controversial actress who rocked Nollywood in the outgoing year.

A product of Next Movie Star, Tonto Dikeh since she hit the limelight few years ago has never seized to be at the centre of controversy. The outgoing year is no different.
Her controversial lifestyle became more glaring this yearjudging from most of her unbecoming exploits. After thenoise generated by her new tattoo last year, Tonto continued with her ‘wild lifestyle’,stepping on people’stoes and damning her critics. Her newly released singles, Hiand Itz Ova, did not help matters even though the singles became two of the most listened and downloaded tracks, with over 500,000 views.
Dikeh, who joined the bandwagon of other actors who succumbed to the moonlighting itch to delve into music, was lampooned and criticised by her fans for the uninspiring singles. Yet, she was not deterred. While she was battling to find her feet inthe music circle, her foes romantically linked her to the Kukere crooner, Iyanya who squealers said was seeing Ghanaian leggy actress, Yvonne Nelson. For Iyanya and Tonto Dikeh it was all about who has left who for who.
However, this whole saga began when Yvonne Nelson took to the internet to vent her feelings after Iyanya dumped her for Tonto Dikeh. The drama continued unabated until Tonto Dikeh replied Yvonne’s tweet and the two actresses took their rivalry to Blackberry messenger (BBM) where they threw ‘nasty’ insults at each other.

Man Caught Having Séx With Female Corpse

A 29-year old man, going by the name Nura Mustapha, is currently explaining to homicide detectives at the State Criminal Investigative Department, Panti, Yaba,Lagos State, why he was allegedly caught having s é x with the corpse of a lady identified as Faith Akin.

Mustapha was arrested early in March after an attendant at the Green Star Hotel, Alaba-Rago, raised an alarm that hewould not allow the corpse to be retrieved .
Police officers identified the corpse of the lady as Faith Akin, a resident of Ondo State, who visited her mother in Lagos.
“We have a lot of customers coming with different girls to the hotel. But on that fateful day, Mustapha came in about 5.00 pm and booked the room;after about 9.00pm, he brought in this lady and they stayed the night,” said the hotel attendant. “Early the next day, before I would handover to the morning staff, I went round to check the rooms; that was how I saw the lady lying down . I went to touch her but there was no response; I called out to Nura, but he did not answer. It was when I came back the second time after I had informed the manager that I saw the customer having s é x with the corpse again; I tried to call his attention but he did not respond, so I went to call the police .”
When officers from the Ojo Police Station arrived the scene, it was gathered that the suspect was seen having s é x with the unconscious lady.
“As soon as we got the complaint from the hotel management, we rushed to thescene of the incident; unfortunately, we experiencedthe shock of our lives when we saw Nura on top of the lifeless lady still having s é x with her,” said a police officer.”We had to drag him from the lady’s corpse before he realised that people had been watching him. It was a terrible thing for such a young man to sleep with a corpse; maybe for ritual purpose, but we do not know.”
During questioning, Mustapha allegedly told the police officers that he had taken as é x-enhancement drug before inviting the deceased to his hotel room.
“He said he used a local Hausa herb, called ‘burutashe’to enhance his s é xual performance before he had s é x with the lady,” said the police source. “The corpse had foam coming out from her mouth; and despite that he kept [penetrating] her because the drug made him to have delayed ejaculation. So to satisfy himself, he kept [penetrating] the lady even when he discovered that she was dead, so as to relieve himself .”
The Tiv Yam market in Alaba-Rango is predominantly populated by Hausas and it was gathered that commercial s é x workers often congregate there at night to solicit for customers.
